Furuno has released a Brand-new radar FAR-2xx8 with refined X-band and S-band antenna system to perform high signal accuracy and excellent reliability with less maintenance cost and downtime.
Using further technologies to ensure safe navigation and user-friendly interface, FAR-2xx8 allow operators to get:
- ACE (Automatic Clutter Elimination) – crystal clear Radar images by automatically adjusting for current sea conditions.
- FTT (Fast Target tracking) – quickly access to COG/SOG/CPA/TCPA data – by one click. Also, it produces fast target acquisition and accurate target tracking.
And use:
- IAB (Instant Access Bar) – which shows Radar Function menu (TX/STBY, ACE ON/OFF e.t.c) and Display Setting menu (AIS messages, MAP ON, HL OFF e.t.c) on panels which place at right corner.
- New ergonomic control unit with trackball for stress-free operations and comfortable using by operator.
